Built on a platform that easily attaches to a John Deere windrower, and with increased durability features such as a heavy duty 3/16" tubular steel header mainframe, the WS Grain Belt Swather is designed to last. It has increased table capacity for improved flow of specialty crops, and is also easy to hook up. FEATURES

Remote draper speed control Draper speeds are hydraulically controlled in-cab, and are adjustable up to 800 rpm. Remote draper speed control gives you the power to quickly adjust draper speeds for varying crop conditions.   V-Guided Polyester drapers 42" (106.7 cm) drapers are made of longlasting, rubberized polyester with fibreglass reinforced slats and are V-guided to eliminate manual draper tracking.   Draper drive The 2 1/2" (6.4 cm) diameter vulcanized drive rollers provide slip-free traction in heavy crop conditions. Powered from the outside by a hydraulic motor, the drapers move the crop towards the swath opening creating a uniform windrow.   Reel drive The hydraulically driven reel is easily controlled with standard in-cab controls for fast adjustment to changing crop conditions.   Schumacher Cutting System The Schumacher Easy Cut Cutting System provides smooth, superior cutting. Spring steel guards, with cutting edges on top and bottom, along with alternating, bolted, heat treated sections eliminates the need for hold downs. The system keeps dirt and debris from accumulating under the knives for increased performance in severe cutting conditions.   Knife drive The knife is driven by a 35/16" (8.4cm) stroke, epicyclic knife drive which operates at 1400 strokes per minute. The knife drive is driven by a low maintenance hydraulic drive motor. Double knife drive systems are standard on 36’ and 21’ models and optional equipment on all other models. Manual header tilt No-wrench header tilt adjustment for header tilt control in varying crop conditions.   Draper tension The draper can be adjusted for tensioning, which allows even tension on both the front and rear of the rollers. A quick release lever allows for ease of canvas and roller cleaning.   Easy hook-up lift arm extensions Lift arm extension attaches to the windrower lift arm using 4 bolts. Lift arm assembly attaches to swather using a ‘no-wrench’ single pin attachment. New arms provide increased flotation and table capacity.   Skid plates Cutterbar UHMW poly skid plates are standard equipment on all models to protect the cutterbar when cutting crops close to the ground. Steel skid plate is also offered as optional equipment.   Jack adjustable castoring gauge wheels Vertically adjustable with a screw jack and cushioned with a rubber spring for compression and rebound, castoring gauge wheels are standard equipment on swather tables 30’ and wider. The castoring design eliminates gouging when turning.   Integral storage transport The self-contained transport, including hitch, jack and axle, are conveniently stored on the swather table.   Hay guard Hay guard ensures a smooth transition from knife to draper and reduces material wrapping on the rollers.   Swath opening Standard swath opening is 81" +/- 3". Double swath standard opening of 46" +/- 6". Standard swath opening may be decreased by 14" or 28" on some models.

OPTIONS Fore/Aft reel adjustment An optional hydraulic fore/aft reel adjustment with in-cab control is available for on-the-go response to changing crop conditions with a 16" operating range. Hydraulic fore/aft is standard equipment on all 36’ models.   Hydraulic header tilt In-cab control allows on-the-go tilt control with an 8" stroke.   Double swath Using two shifting decks, double swath, gives you in-cab control for right, left and centre delivery of your windrow. As the photo shows, an optional junior deck is available for right hand delivery. Double swath option is standard equipment on 21’ tables and available as optional equipment on 25’ and 30’ models.   End strut gauge wheels When cutting close to the ground, this option reduces gouging on the right and left hand ends of the cutter bar.
